A new report released by the National Association of College Admission Counseling found that SAT and ACT coaching slightly improved scores. According to the report, a typical increase is 30 points on the SAT (combined math and reading scores) and less than one point on the ACT. However, at some colleges, a relatively minor gain could enhance a student’s opportunity for admission.
