While most schools include loans into their financial aid packages, some do not. The Project on Student Debt publishes a list of colleges with financial aid programs that limit or eliminate student loans from financial aid packages, reducing costs for students and families.

Waking up to endowment losses, decreased donations and a bad economy, some colleges and universities with a stated commitment to ignoring candidates’ financial situations, when considering their applications, are using creative tactics to admit more high paying students while still maintaining their need-blind policies.
