Princeton Admits 8.39% of Applicants

Princeton Admits Record-Low 8.18%

Princeton University has admitted a record-low 8.18% of 26,247 applicants to the Class of 2014. 2,148 students were offered admission, making it the most selective this year’s admission process in Princeton University’s history.

America’s Best Colleges, published by Forbes Magazine, and Best Colleges 2010 from U.S. News are out. Many of the usual suspects – Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, MIT – ranked high on both lists. There were surprises as well.
